Bridge Christian Community, Arklow, is a non-denominational church which is committed to the following goals:

 

 

To love, worship and glorify God as individuals and together.
To creatively proclaim and demonstrate the good news of Jesus Christ to every part of our local community.
To help every member develop towards wholeness in God and into fulfilling His purposes for their lives.

 

  • To have a significant impact on the spiritual, moral, social & economic healing of the area.
  • To play our part in the national and world-wide mission of the church.

  • To provide a community centre facility for Arklow.

Our name reflects much of this vision. We aim to be a Bridge between people and God, as well as between people of different backgrounds and between our locality and the rest of the world.  We are devoted to the Christian faith as revealed in the Word of God, the Bible, and we believe this is best lived out together in a Community of faith.  We are linked together with other churches that share a similar vision across Ireland and abroad.

Values

These are the principles of church life we hold dear, governing the way we do everything.

* We see church not as an institution but as a ?Living, Loving, Worshiping, Witnessing, Serving & Sending group of people in love with Jesus.?

* Church activity takes place by relationship - people matter more than positions or titles

* Leadership exists to release everyone in the church into fully using their gifts & abilities

* We seek to bless other churches at all times and work with them whenever possible.

We meet mid-week in homes to worship and pray for our community and encourage one another in our faith.  We also get together as a whole church with all ages at 10:45 on Sunday mornings in Moneylands Farm Leisure Centre, Arklow. All are welcome at any time.
